Breastfeeding is natural - every woman can breastfeed, right?
„"681,000 mothers exclusively breastfeed their child after birth - in the following months the number drops significantly. After two months it is still slightly more than half (571,000) and after 4 months (...) it is only 401,000 (KiGGS, Walle 2)"“
Breastfeeding isn't intuitive; we need role models to be able to breastfeed successfully, and these are often lacking in today's world. Not every woman can breastfeed without problems – good preparation can prevent and resolve many difficulties.
It is important to know what to expect during breastfeeding in order to recognize myths and evaluate advice.
We want to prepare you intensively, competently and scientifically for this special time with your baby, so that you can relax and feel confident about your breastfeeding relationship.
We will cover, among other things, the following topics:
How can you mentally prepare for breastfeeding?
How can the partner provide support?
What absolutely needs to be considered in the first few days?
What positive effects does breastfeeding have on mother and child?
What is cluster feeding?
How can you tell if you have enough milk?
Alternatives for breast milk production
Duration: approx. 2 hours
Next appointment online: March 3, 2024
Cost: €49 per person
Time: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
