The program consists of 4 parts:
- Exercises for the deep abdominal muscles
- Wearing a belt to relieve pressure on the connective tissue
- Adapting everyday behavior
- Awareness of the body's center
It's a belt that you wear as much as possible for six weeks (except when showering, etc.) to keep your abdominal muscles in the correct position. This eliminates any strain on the weakened connective tissue in the middle.
The exercises are specifically designed for the abdomen, particularly the deep abdominal muscles, and are performed several times a day. This allows the muscles to work in the "right" way and the connective tissue to strengthen.
We also discuss everyday behavior and practice, for example, gentle changes from sitting to standing and to lying down.
To start, I'll show you everything in detail and we'll measure the diastasis recti.
We take measurements again after 3 and 6 weeks, and there are small changes to the exercises over time.
If there are breaks for any reason, you can continue at any time.
It's not a strenuous sport, but the exercises are still demanding and you'll experience muscle soreness, but also good results because you lose inches and reduce your abdominal gap.
