Gentle support for a safe start in life
Some experiences surrounding pregnancy, childbirth, or the early days with a baby leave deep scars – on both parents and children. If the stress overwhelms the nervous system, this can lead to persistent physical and emotional reactions.
Integrative attachment-oriented trauma therapy (IBT) is a body- and attachment-oriented approach that helps to gently process such experiences and to restore the parent-child bond to a stable balance.
How does IBT work?
When stressful events occur, a stress level develops in the body that the nervous system can no longer regulate. As a result, processes in the brain change, often manifesting as personality changes and regulatory disorders.
Through bilateral stimulation, memories of the experience can be mindfully recapitulated and simultaneously reprocessed in the calmed nervous system.
I will accompany you through this process.,
