The strong core – pelvic floor exercises

Habichtstraße 124, Hamburg, Germany

Do you sometimes find it difficult to get to the toilet in time, or do you lose a few drops of urine during sports and are already considering giving up?

The topic of pelvic floor health is still often discussed in hushed tones. It's not just the older generation that's affected; more and more young people are also suffering from bladder weakness. This can be due to childbirth, being overweight, poor posture, or lack of exercise.

Unfortunately, many people accept that they will have to live with bladder weakness from an early age, as they are ashamed to talk to a doctor about it. But precisely this openness is needed to overcome this weakness. Because with some training, the previous level of bladder function can be almost completely restored.

In this course, we will specifically train your pelvic floor muscles and ensure that you feel completely comfortable again, whether during sports, leisure activities, or at home.

At the beginning of the course, we will do a lot of awareness exercises so that you learn to consciously control your pelvic floor. With the help of many strengthening exercises, we will strengthen your core together. You will also receive some tips and exercises that you can integrate into your daily life.

This course is aimed at both women and men of all ages.

You can usually submit the invoice for the course to your health insurance company, however, reimbursement is not guaranteed.

8 units of 60 minutes each cost 99 euros.
A single ticket/trial ticket costs 13 euros.

The course takes place every Monday at 2 pm at Mamiglück. Joining at any point in the course is possible.

Hello dear moms and dads,

My name is Andrea Gieseke and I am happy that you have found your way to my page.

Even as a small child, I loved playing and doing sports in a group. Somehow, I was never the type to train alone. And after becoming a mom in 2015, I enjoyed training and sharing experiences with like-minded mothers even more. We were all in the same boat. Lack of sleep, teething, growth spurts, etc.—some mom always had a tip, or we simply worked off the tiredness with exercise. Even then, I realized that these shared experiences created an incredible sense of community and made this special time even more special.

With the birth of my second daughter in 2018, I met more wonderful mothers, and I must say, every mother has accomplished something extraordinary and can be very proud of what she has achieved simply through pregnancy and childbirth. That's why it's so important that after giving birth, you do something not only for your child but also for yourself, to regain the feeling of well-being you had before pregnancy.
