My name is Lucia Jantos. I am a freelance artist. I come from Munich, grew up on Lake Ammersee, and now live in the west of Munich. I have been painting for as long as I can remember, practically since I was in my mother's womb, as she was a freelance artist and painted a lot during her pregnancy.
I also paint on paper, canvases, and both interior and exterior walls, and since 2010, my brushwork has extended to living canvases—skin—in the context of body painting, especially on the bellies of pregnant women. It's a very special gift for the expectant mother and baby—being painted on the belly—wellness for mother and child, as I always say. I paint with great passion, especially on skin. And the little ones in the womb usually react to the touch of the brush or sponge when I'm painting their bellies. It's a wonderful gift to be able to witness that.
