Preparation for a Cesarean section. The course for your abdominal birth.

Hanover, Hanover Region, Lower Saxony, Germany

This childbirth preparation course focuses specifically on preparing for your abdominal birth.

You can prepare well for a cesarean section, too. Of course, a cesarean section is subject to different conditions than a vaginal birth. My name is Anika and I live with my family in Hannover Limmer.
I support expectant parents, as well as single mothers, LGBTQ+ individuals, and rainbow families during pregnancy and childbirth. If you'd like my support on your birth journey, let's get to know each other! Together, we can discuss your wishes and how I can best support you.
Supporting families as a doula is also connected to my own journey. The moment my own son was born changed my life; my pregnancy and birth changed me as a woman. I myself would have wished for support.

Information, trust, and intuition are essential pillars for me in a self-determined pregnancy and birth. I want to empower the families I support in precisely these areas. Because it's important that parents experience a pregnancy in which they receive the support they need.
Because it matters how our children are born and how we give birth. And because the birth of a child represents a turning point in the life of the family into which it is born.
From my own experience, I know that pregnancy and childbirth can have difficult phases. And that can sometimes feel hard, and it needs recognition and space. That's what I want to provide in my support. A space where everything is allowed.
I work at Kaiserschnittstelle Hannover, a counselling centre for traumatic births where I am actively involved and support families who have had traumatic experiences during pregnancy and childbirth.
With my son by my side, I am also the mother of two angel babies. For this reason, I offer targeted birth preparation for those who have experienced loss. I also offer regular support group meetings for bereaved mothers at Leere Wiege Hannover (Empty Cradle Hanover).
I am also a certified nutritional therapist and can answer your questions about nutrition during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Of course, I am also available to answer your questions about introducing solid foods to your baby.
