Workshop Baby-led weaning

Online

Is your baby about to start solid foods?

Then an exciting time begins for you!

This time is often approached with mixed feelings: joy, excitement, but also uncertainty and doubt are completely normal during this phase. We want to understand your feelings, support you, and encourage you during the weaning period.

We debunk all myths and provide you with all the essential, scientifically sound information about complementary feeding.

We will cover, among other things, the following topics:
- The "right" time to start complementary feeding
- The true signs of readiness for complementary feeding
- Official recommendations from professional societies & WHO

- Pureed food vs. baby-led weaning
- Suitable and unsuitable foods
- Drinks during the weaning period
- Principles of complementary feeding
As well as important information that must be taken into account when introducing complementary foods.

We will also show you various utensils that are recommended for starting complementary feeding.

At the end of the workshop, there will be time for all your questions.

We look forward to introducing you to a relaxed, loving and child-friendly weaning period.

We are Pia and Isabell: mothers, educators, family companions and founders of Mālama.

Our vision was to create a place where families can come together and receive professional and scientifically sound support from the very beginning.
Through years of work in childcare, as well as numerous training courses in the areas of breastfeeding, baby and toddler sleep, complementary feeding, diaper-free and potty training, we have acquired the necessary expertise.

With our family lounge in the heart of Aschaffenburg, we have created a place of well-being and offer young families a comprehensive range of consultations, workshops and courses from pregnancy, through the baby period, into childhood.
