How wonderful would it be if you both used the same hand signs? This way, you can communicate with each other much earlier! With the signs of German Sign Language (DGS), your child learns the joy of communication long before they can speak words themselves. Many a guessing game about your little one's needs becomes easier, and everyday frustrations can be avoided. In addition, the connections in your baby's brain are stimulated. We talk about everyday topics such as family, food, colors, toys, personal hygiene, and animals. We integrate the appropriate signs, and with a little practice, little ones can usually imitate their favorite signs quite quickly from around 4-6 months old.
