Together we will develop personalized affirmations to support you in remaining confident and empowered during childbirth. Set to music of your choice and spoken by you or another person, we will create an anchor and a safe space for you, regardless of where your birth takes place. Since we can also meet via Zoom, booking is possible regardless of location.<\/p>\n
Why affirmations?
\nFor me, the most important tool during my baby's birth was self-recorded affirmations set to my relaxation music. The affirmations served as a safe haven and gave me support. I only realized how much they helped me when I briefly left the room and suddenly experienced much more intense pain. I realized how important a personal safe space is and how much music and affirmations help to create one anywhere.<\/p>\n
I recommend listening to the affirmations repeatedly towards the end of your pregnancy, consciously relaxing and connecting with your body and baby. This way, you'll associate them with positive feelings and a relaxed state beforehand, which your subconscious can then access during labor. At the same time, your personal affirmations and words will remind you to consciously focus on how you want to feel.<\/p>\n
During my first birth, I learned how easy it is to forget your plans in such an extraordinary situation. You can use this experience to your advantage: In a consultation, we'll work together to discover what you envision for your birth. We'll develop affirmations that empower you, help you relax, and allow you to fully embrace the process. Perhaps you already have an idea of the right music for your birth; otherwise, I'll make suggestions to create a cohesive and harmonious experience. You can decide whether you record the affirmations yourself, or perhaps your partner, a friend, or I can do it.
